Travel and Tourism Management Qualifications

The ATHE Travel and Tourism Management Qualifications have been developed for learners wishing to develop the core knowledge and competencies required of a manager in the tourism industry, however there is also the opportunity to gain specialist knowledge in areas such as Resort Management and Tour Operations.

Once learners have completed the level 5 Diploma they will be eligible to progress onto an Extended Diploma in another subject area at the same level which provides routes to Bachelor Degree programmes, as well as be ready to go straight into employment, with practical skills and knowledge they can apply immediately.

ATHE encourages centres to combine the study of ATHE qualifications with a work placement relevant to the unit the learners are studying. All assignments must still be assessed in accordance with the guidelines set out in the Delivering ATHE Qualifications Handbook.
